Unfortunately, the cons outweigh the pros. Management hires young and inexperienced workers because they are cheap labor. The boss is stuck in 1995 and thinks that the salaries he offers are livable in NYC in 2023. The photographer and designer have to answer to the management (two people who have no history or real knowledge of design and photography). THERE IS NO HR. Management is so delusional that they believe there is absolutely nothing wrong in the company and everyone is happy. They do not trust their employees to do their jobs and basically helicopter parent their employees. Which is another reason they don't like when their employees work from home. In my year and a half at this 10 person company, 4 people quit. Employee moral virtually does not exist. Overall, I met some cool people and learned a lot, but I should have left when I first realized I was unhappy six months in.
