The leadership team has absolutely no idea what they are doing. They are all extremely unqualified and were able to get in at StartEngine early under Howard while having little to no experience on how to run a company. They get paid an absurd amount of money that they give to themselves by excluding employees in the bonus pool, which you can view in the Form C if you're curious, and don't care about any employees aside from themselves. Throughout the entire company and departments is an ongoing joke on how much they are paid for being horrible at their jobs. StartEngine preaches feedback and transparency, but if at any point you give feedback or don't bend the knee they will actively try to get rid of you regardless of performance. The leadership team continues to switch directions of the company because they keep messing up the previous quarter, even though multiple people throughout the org. will tell them before the quarter that their plan will not work. There has been a lot of amazing talent that has come through StartEngine and they all leave because of how inept the leadership team is. These are not people you want to work for and have no interest in anything but their own pockets. There is no data behind any of their reasonings and choices and they go off their "feel". They give no guidance and any question you have they'll look to Howard to find an answer. Stay away from StartEngine.
