The biggest pro is flexibility in income due to commission.

Experience is highly dependent on the Agent you work for. Every office is run differently including base salary and commissions. There is no protection to team members and depending on the agent the only benefit one might get is a life insurance policy that the agent will pay for (and collect commission on).. Rates can be unreasonable in some cases. Constant rate increases and the billing department is a wreck.. I personally worked for an Agent who would write policies to avoid paying team members if that says anything at all…Again solely depends on the agent and if the agent has the ability to take care of their team members..

(At the time and now, according to other comments) Arrogant to a fault Total lack of innovation & willingness to innovate Odd attachment to the company's past (which prevents progress) High number of veterans (20+ years) who are determined to get that retirement money, and therefore, are resistant to change and technology Heavy reliance on command and control management style Poor decision-making that leads to losses of all kinds
