There is a lot of hardworking people who work for StemExpress who are willing to help one another succeed! The open door policy the CEO, Cate Dyer and her leadership team (all amazing females) have, has always made me share my ideas openly and the advice and support I have received for years has been unwavering. It is a great place to grow in your career and learn. Make no mistake, you will have to work hard as in any other company to get promoted but asking the right questions and using resources will take you far. Shadow people, ask for advice and do your best, and you will shine!

Some processes in-terms of company wide communications (share of information)need a little more structure in my opinion

Great start up experience, especially when majoring in science and biology. You will meet SOME amazing employees.

Extremely high turnover rate, you will either leave the company on your own after a year or get laid off, which this company has 2-3 layoffs a year to "cut costs", have numerous employees forcefully transfer different departments (but would lie and say it's "temporary"), because they are so understaffed from the layoffs, with NO differential pay. No stability, no proper pay at all; especially in this difficult economy, little to no communication from the higher ups or anyone for all that matters, and too many lies and promises. Also, never give recognition and too many shady clique-ish people. I'll probably give the company less than 5 years till it goes under...
