Very confusing place - Recensione dipendente - Associate presso Stephens

A lot of senior people (like MDs) with not much deal experience. This filters down and much of the organisation haven't done many deals. Kinda like blind leading the blind. There is a serious lack of leadership, no one in London has any decision making power. Salary is at market but bonuses are shockingly low. A lot of junior staff work goes unappreciated and culture is soulless (non existent perhaps). Strategy is very confusing - would like to do big deals but haven't got the experience against competitors to earn that right. A bit of a hopeless place and I would not be surprised if there is no London office in a couple years
