Paralegals were routinely expected to undertake work comparable to solicitor-level tasks without appropriate pay, recognition, or progression. Workplace culture was toxic and, at times, intimidating. Bullying behaviour was present and not effectively challenged by management. Micromanagement was prioritised over training and professional development. Raising concerns did not lead to meaningful change and often resulted in feeling dismissed or further undermined.
