There are some good ppl within the organization.

I have been gone for over a year. After leaving for a better opportunity, it has become even more obvious how toxic StevenDouglas was in all areas. 1. The company cruise- They pay for the basics of the trip. You end up spending at least $500 of your own money for things the company should cover, like a drink package. And… the trip is done thru a weekend, with everyone bring required to exit the boat by 8am on a Monday and be at their desk ready for work that same morning. Not remotely similar to my current company. 2- Favoritism at StevenDouglas is one of the most toxic functions of the job. 3- An Exec Leader is like family and will never be removed. Be ready to hear negativity, and likely some screaming if things are not said/done their way- no matter if its right or wrong. 4- People may appear supportive but that is just “smoking mirrors.” I can honestly say that my current company has ppl that genuinely support and care for each other. Leadership at my firm leads with truth and respect. My advice—- Reach out to those that have exited in the past two years. Take a glance at longtime former employees, as there is a pattern of tenured ppl who have left.
