If you want to do the bare minimum and make the same money as those who work hard every shift, this is the perfect place for you.

Hard work not rewarded but instead is taken for granted and used to the advantage of management. Management is not approachable at best and at times hypocritical. Expectations of employees vary from individual to individual. When you voice a personal complaint or issue to management, it is disregarded or taken as insubordination. Ongoing cockroach infestation in kitchen and dining room that IS NOT resolved. Black mold in soda machines that is periodically cleaned if someone gets around to it.

Horrible coworkers who've worked there gor years and years, before the current owner even. They are all related from a little island and they take advantage of everyone. They 100% run the resturant.

The people are nice, good food, good money

The tip-out is weird and changes randomly with no notice. Sometimes it felt like it wasn't adding up. 50% automatically goes to the chefs on the habachi side and they report 0$ in tips whether they get given a 20 or not so its not really fair. You also tip out to bar, sushi bar, and bus boys so you defiantly notice when one of the percentages change
