Vantaggi
A few of the positive items I can list are a steady paycheck, benefits (albeit comparable to those of every other company its size), and UNLIMITED opportunity to learn. However, the latter is not necessarily backed up by sound documentation, time to capture processes or support to improve said processes. I have stayed because I do hope things will someday improve; the product is solid. This company is supported by a parent organization, and the financial backing is somewhat comforting. Stolle does build some great products. There are a few really good people at this organization. There is great potential to be found, but it may only be realized with positive change vs. pushing people around or out.
Svantaggi
Process Improvement is preached yet not supported in reality, Don't Touch the Sacred Cow, Confusing & siloed targets in various departments, Disgruntled co-workers, Toxic work environment, Popular "corrective action" is for employees to leave (either on their own volition or not), No discernable reparative action stemming from root cause analysis that begins with leaders themselves to help their staff, Concerns aren't easy to bring to light, Sense of distrust in the system (HR, mid-higher level management), Leading to poor reviews on social media vs discussions directly with leadership. Lack of support for employees, Unrealistic goals, Disgruntled co-workers, Toxic work environment, High turnover, Sense of distrust in those who are supposed to help: HR, mid-higher level management, Leaders don't even seem supported by their managers
