The project I was working on was cancelled and I was informed that I would have a month to find another job, which did not happen. Storm put me on another project for another 30 days, but after those 30 days, I was fired. Storm deducted 5% of March's salary, 10% of April's salary and 10% of May's salary. When I started to work in the company, I asked for a loan to help with my relocation, the amount of the 4 instalments was discounted in a lump sum of the last salary and the 25% of discounts wasn't payback. When I asked, so many times, to CEO he says "as a gesture of goodwill, we are able to deposit 500 euros to help you", What? isn't a gesture of goodwill, I worked for it and I want my money. Because of them, I had difficulty to support my family here and also to pay the bills. I understand the unprecedented situation that occurred but you are irresponsible, didn't pay what they owe me (I worked and deliver all that I requested to do with positive feedback from customers), an irresponsible discount of a lump sum of the loan without understanding the employee side, I had luck to be entitled to get the benefits from the government, Otherwise, I would go starving with my wife and an 8-year-old child also without a place to live, without possibility to back to my country because we leave all in there. If you are an ex-pat coming to Ireland by the Storm contract, I suggest you put on contract a clause like "in case of dismissal before the 2 years contract, Storm will be required to pay all relocation expenses".
