Salary was decent, but we had to constantly monitor if our CPF had been deposited into our accounts yet. Colleagues were generally nice and co-operative, perhaps because we felt oppressed most of the time. There were a few good managers, but they couldn't be too nice since they had pressure from the top as well.

Management overpromises to clients, and then imposes unrealistic timelines and targets on the staff. In the end, the company under-delivers and nobody is happy. Management expects staff to start early, end late, and even work on weekends, without getting equivalent off days in return. Management will tell staff to cancel their holiday leave on the day of their flight to their holiday destination, even though the leave was already approved in advance. For overseas assignments, staff is expected to pay first, and then get their reimbursements many months later. HR is unprofessional and uncaring. Staff usually quit after a year or two, including key personnel in the Finance and Legal departments. The whole company is operated like a family business even though it's already a listed company.
