Expectations are unrealistic in terms of sales goals, there’s significant pressure to bring in sales immediately, and there’s high turnover. They have nothing unique or special to sell and in an extremely competitive arena, they have nothing to distinguish themself and stand out. They hook you with promises of making a ton of money, but if you have a good year, due to their comp plan, it’s impossible to bring in enough the next year to keep making the big bucks. There’s very little marketing support and most agencies/clients have never heard of them, so building a book of business takes time, at least 6-12 months, yet they expect results in half that time. Your main job is acting as an BDR and trying to get appointments. Only take this job if you’re desperate.
