-The corporate structure of this place leads to immense siloeing within the ranks. Even when it mutually advantageous for principals to share information likes qauls, client information or news, they tend to gatekeep this for themselves. It leads to a highly inefficient organization which feels like a strange conglomeration of 7 indepedent businesses in some small boutique firm. -Your career lives and dies on first impressions. If you mess up slightly on a deliverable, or a senior managment (as they often do) throw you under the bus, that prinicipal will never work with you again -- essentially cutting you from a significant amount of business. Many of these impressions are also super arbitrary, like a principal thinking you looked weird one day and they will never treat you the same. -No CRM. Come one guys. It is 2025. What semi-modern organization does not have a CRM at this point? The way that clients files are just haphazardly thrown in sharepoint or microsoft teams with no apparent logic. Coupled with the fact, that information sharing is terrible, with nobody telling anyone of what is going on leading to a lot of "ummmms" and "yes, I will circle back on that." This organization is run like a company out of the 1990s. -That plays well in my last point -- they do not care about you and development is not in their minds. This is purely an ego exercisie, that exist to torment their employees.
