Vantaggi
Unending Snack Supply: The only generous department in the company. These snacks act as your primary life jacket, providing just enough sugar to help you survive the daily absurdity and the complete lack of management logic.
Svantaggi
Toxic Taiwanese Management (Total Mess): Management is obsessed with tracking every single second of your day. They act like wardens with stopwatches, micromanaging minor tasks while remaining completely blind to the fact that the ship is sinking. They mistake "hours logged" for "actual productivity." A Masterclass in "The Blind Leading the Sighted": Management is utterly clueless about actual execution but possesses a bizarre, unearned confidence in their own chaotic "logic." They aren't running a company; they are performing a live demonstration of how to hit an iceberg. The Double Exodus (Staff & Management): You can tell the ship is going down by how fast everyone is jumping off. It’s not just the staff—the management tier rotates so fast it’s like a game of musical chairs. If you stay for three months, you’re basically the "Honorary Captain" of this wreck. Drowning in "Infinite Meetings": Leadership seems to think that the frequency of meetings can patch the holes in the hull. Expect endless, agendaless, and conclusion-free sessions every single day. This is purely a tactic to mask their total ignorance of strategic direction, turning your work hours into a void of wasted life. Title Over Decency: They operate on a hierarchy where "title" replaces "manners." Basic workplace etiquette is treated as a luxury they simply can't afford. Professional respect is non-existent—only high-pressure toxicity and a complete lack of boundaries.
Vantaggi
Good office location, salary is paid on time every month & flexible working hours.
Svantaggi
1. Disastrous IT department The IT team holds way too much power and is single-handedly choking the entire company. Most of them are long-serving deadwood just waiting to retire. "IT Directors" are lazy, irresponsible, and experts at shifting blame. When you ask for help, you’ll often get passive-aggressive and sarcastic responses. Even simple beginner-level dashboards are full of errors. Propose any new idea and their instant reply is “impossible.” Their arrogance is nauseating - actual knowledge are completely disproportionate to their salaries. I'm sure they would struggle badly to find another job if they ever got fired. 2. Zero privacy There is absolutely no privacy in this company. HR casually leaks colleagues’ salary, personal background, and other private information to anyone. Gossip spreads like wildfire among staff. To make things worse, the IT team can access and read your emails and Teams conversations whenever they want and spread it out. Once again, IT is the most toxic and unprofessional department here. 3. Unrealistic workload & dysfunction environment Taiwan management team has no clue how weak the Hong Kong team’s capabilities are and how terrible the local infrastructure is. They blindly apply their fast-paced, high-precision Taiwan standards here, but the reality is pathetic — outdated hardware, broken website structure, high product costs, and inconsistent quality. A large number of redundant staff are just struggling every day with no real progress. No matter how strong the management thinks they are, it’s impossible to deliver results in this rotten environment. Fully explains why there are extremely high employee turnover rate.
