The culture is a core Strength. I haven't experienced any of the negative concerns posted by others - I had to miss work my second week and it was no problem because they gave me a bank of PTO day 1. At my last organization, which was 100 times bigger, you started accruing PTO day 1, but couldn't miss more than what was earned. Most of the benefits are better than average, though the amount of PTO accrual is slightly behind what I had before. The people have been fantastic, totally accepting and inviting - I felt like a member of the team almost immediately.

Svantaggi

While the labs are cutting edge, the administrative processes are living in the 1970's. Paper forms for most things, I can't even look at my pay online.

One of the biggest pros of working for this company was its strong focus on work-life balance, which allowed employees to maintain a healthy blend between professional and personal life. The modern and well-designed office building created a comfortable and motivating environment to work in every day. Being part of the healthcare industry also made the work meaningful, knowing that our efforts contributed to improving people’s well-being. Additionally, the company’s profit-sharing program was a great incentive, recognizing and rewarding employees for their contributions to the organization’s overall success.

One of the main downsides of working for this company was that management needed significant improvement, as communication and decision-making often lacked transparency and consistency. Over time, office politics and nepotism began to influence promotions and opportunities, which affected team morale and collaboration. These issues gradually started to impact the overall workplace culture, making it harder for employees to stay motivated and feel recognized based on merit.
