The major downside is the number of issues that affect a company in the midst of high growth and change. There is a lot of ambiguity and uncertainty on an ongoing basis; as the business evolves, roles and responsibilities may evolve and change; the pace of work is intense - tight deadlines, commitment to outcomes, rapid-response in adverse situations. If you don't love what you do, and are not adept at being effective picking the right things to do (as opposed to trying to do everything, or what's most convenient, or easiest, or whatever), this place will not suit you.

Aside from the location, all of the above PROS are mitigated by the fact that in the past few years the business model has changed to "scam the customer at all costs to make money". Management creates an environment that beats employees down to the point of burn-out....if you give 100% they will say you are a failure for not giving 101%. Yearly reviews are created in a way to have everyone feel inadequate....supposedly to foster competition to achieve greatness, but it only causes resentment. Days off will be pulled at the last minute for arbitrary "business reasons". Management creates quarterly goals before testing feasibility, then when they find the goal is unreachable, blames the employees for failing to make the quarterly goal...publicly telling other departments that "Group A lost us $XXX this quarter"....even if $XXX was never achievable in the first place.
