Hello there - thank you for leaving your review and offering your perspective. I'm glad to hear that you appreciated the team; that's been my experience too. I feel quite lucky to work with smart, interesting, and passionate people with diverse skills and deep expertise! As for your critiques, I can understand where you might be coming from. I'm unsure when you left the company, but it might be helpful to know that we now have two structured review cycles per year, inclusive of salary review, promotions, and pay raises, with decisions aligned to competency frameworks, manager input, and peer feedback to reinforce that we're celebrating those who are consistently living our core values. In this most recent cycle, I'm pleased to share that we were able to promote a third of our team, and in the past year, the majority of employees have seen increases to compensation. That being said, it sounds like that wasn't your experience, and I'm sorry to hear that. I'm hoping you are taking the good that came from your time with team, applying what you learned, and doing well now. Thanks again for the feedback! - Andrea (VP, People)

Vantaggi

The people are thoughtful, driven, and genuinely kind. Collaboration is the norm, not the exception, and it’s a low-ego environment, which feels rare in the agency world. You’re trusted to do your job well without being micromanaged, with real autonomy and accountability. If you want to grow quickly and take on more responsibility, the opportunity is there. There’s a strong sense of purpose and pride in the work, and the company genuinely cares about doing right by clients. The bar is high, which isn’t for everyone, but it makes the work challenging and rewarding. This is a great place for people who want to do excellent work.

Svantaggi

The bar is high and the work moves quickly. Because the team is fully remote, you need to be comfortable working independently and speaking up—there’s less passive learning than you’d get in an office environment.

Thank you for sharing your perspective on what makes working at Structured special for you, and also what you see as the candid realities of working in a fully remote agency environment, so that those who thrive in this setting will opt in (to the opportunities and also to the challenges). Your sentiment about the people at Structured being thoughtful, driven, and genuinely kind reflects what I typically hear and see as well, whether that be in my 1to1 check-ins with individuals, or on our peer recognition platform, or in the monthly all-hand meeting in which everyone gives a shout-out to a teammate who they see living our core values. I find your observations insightful about how a remote environment demands a certain level of comfort speaking up, needing to take a proactive approach to learning, and the ability to strike the balance between collaboration and working independently. Thank you for sharing! - Andrea (VP, People)

Vantaggi

Remote, can work from anywhere in the world

Svantaggi

If I was writing this review a couple of years ago, I would have easily recommended anyone work at (as an employee) and with (as a client) Structured Agency. As of now, I do not believe Structured to be a company that has its employees and clients best interest. After a change in management, and employees rapidly leaving or getting laid off, Structured did not offer the support or conditions that the team needed to produce the best work for clients. My coworkers and I would work after hours to be able to complete duties well outside of our scope, with no opportunities for growth (compensation wise or role wise). I don't think they will be able to sustainably keep this business practice up, so I would steer clear of working here.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to reflect on your past experiences working at the agency. I wholeheartedly agree that part of what makes for a strong management team (and company culture as a whole) is listening to employees, supporting them in the day-to-day, provide opportunities for growth (in all meanings of the word), and operate with best interests of the team and clients in mind. I believe that's a big part of my remit, and the feedback I've gotten from the broader team points to stability and right conditions for a sustainable future. (For example, we now do full performance reviews, development conversations with managers, career pathing, systems for workload management, etc.). Are we perfect? No. :-) That said, I can confidently say that I listen to our people and work hard to enable a supportive environment in tandem with my leadership team colleagues. I'm sorry you left before experiencing this latest chapter we're writing together! Hoping you are doing well on your journey, too. - Andrea (VP, People)
