Stryker came to our facility and made speeches about their culture and so on. They promised to keep everything the same and as soon as the merger was complete they fired people. People that had been here and had proven their value. The excuse was that the job title did not fit into their organizational structure. What a bunch of crap. They staged the process so it was dragged out with new org announcements coming every few weeks and each time people lost their jobs or were demoted. So far they have taken a company that was number one in the total shoulder business and completley disrespected the people that built Wright UE to a world class company,

Sports Medicine has unfortunately changed from a dynamic and collaborative group to one being led by toxic leadership. Rather than working together and trusting team members, they now have an in group and out group. If you’re in the in group, you can say anything you want without being questioned and be automatically trusted even when your track record says otherwise. If you’re in the out group and your message doesn’t align with what the leadership wants to hear, then you are automatically wrong and not to be trusted.
