I have been with Studio 5 for a couple of years, and I can confidently say it is one of the most genuine, compassionate, and supportive companies I have ever worked for. Despite being relatively young and small, Studio 5 offers an impressive array of benefits they offer their employees, from medical and 401(k) to paid parental leave and professional development stipend. Great people, wonderful comapny.

When I started here, it was fabulous. Truly wonderful people in leadership. It stayed that way for the first year and a half. Then, something flipped. They grew super fast, from about 7-8 employees to about 25. I hope they find their way; it was the best place I'd ever worked.

With all the growth came a period of rapidly cycling through HR platforms, then a person, then back to platforms. Policies and processes would change on a dime. The tenor went from positive to punitive. They were particularly inconsistent about how they reviewed us, gave feedback, then gave conflicting feedback...it was impossible to please them. Then came the somewhat random firings--I think seven people within a year. These came without PIPs, and they would promise not to contest unemployment but they did.
