Vantaggi

Career development is one area where the company consistently delivers, just not in the way you’d expect. When you eventually leave, whether by choice or not, you’ll walk away with a renewed appreciation for what a healthy workplace looks like. You’ll likely find yourself thinking, “At least it can’t be worse than that.” In that sense, the experience provides a valuable perspective on what to look for, and what to avoid, in your next role.

Svantaggi

Say goodbye to your happiness, family, friends, and work life balance. Employees are expected to be in the office from 8:00 AM to 6:45 PM every day. If you’re even one minute late, you’re required to stay until 8:00 PM. As unbelievable as that sounds, it’s true. Inc. even published an article about it. PTO is extremely limited, and one of the primary ways to earn additional time off is by working weekends. Weekend work is heavily encouraged by leadership, despite the fact that many employees support school districts that are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Not surprisingly, this environment makes it difficult to build any meaningful company culture. The long hours and constant pressure leave little room for anything else. You’ll also see job postings advertising massive uncapped OTEs. In reality, only a small percentage of employees ever come close to those numbers. Everyone else is told that if they just work harder and stay longer, the payoff will come. For most people, it never does. If you’re still reading this and considering a role here, my advice is simple: run, and don’t look back.
