Never take up a job at subway unless you want the entire shop to yourself - Recensione dipendente - Graduate Student presso Subway

You usually get left with the whole shop to yourself, which would be fine if it wasn't a busy location and you weren't expected to clean, make food, food prep, waste count, product count and take in produce shipments (and make sure everything was there, and carry these heavy boxes where they require to be) by yourself for your first job at age 16!!! I did this all, very well if I say so myself, but i NEVER got to leave on time because of it (at least an hour but sometimes 2 and a half, which btw you do NOT get paid for as these extra hours were not scheduled into the rota, but of course you can't leave without doing everything as you're usually setting up for the next day!!!!!). Until subway sorts out their franchises and how they treat their staff (and the fact my place used only one staff member per shift as it was CHEAPER) I would recommend NOONE take up a job there. Or at the very least, if they start leaving you AFTER YOUR 4 HOUR TRAINING SHIFT with the entire shop, please just expect what I've described up here.
