Svantaggi
It is a terribly mismanaged company. Management is archaic. They have driven the company into the ground by mismanaging funds and employees are the ones who suffer the most. In the past few years, there haven't been any pay increases or 403(b) contributions. Some employees have even had to take a pay cut it in order to keep their job. Most of the managers have no significant classroom experience. They taught for a year or two, yet they refuse to listen to employees who spent 10+ years teaching in a classroom. As a whole, the company values academic success and achievements over real-world experience. They refuse to listen to any new or creative ideas. If an employee even dares to question management they are shut down and then slowly pushed out of their job. Upper management tries to make it seem like they care about employees but the inconsistencies and double standards say otherwise. Managers can make up their own schedules, work-from-home, and come and go in the office as they please, but everyone else is micromanaged like they are kindergarteners. It breeds a culture of anger and resentment towards upper management.
