You’re encouraged to find what works best for you because no two people are the same. If you have the drive to compete with your own best month, quarter, or year, you will excel at Summit. They will give you every tool necessary to be successful and build your own business within the business. You just have to be intrinsically motivated to succeed. You will learn business acumen, tried and true sales philosophies from people who have actually been in the trenches, as well as what works in the modern market climate. Long sales cycles can be rough when you’re building your own pipeline, but it is manageable. As long as you keep your pipeline stacked, the deals will close regularly. Don’t ever take your foot off the gas.

This is a cool business model! It’s like a car dealership for office equipment: local, family-owned, and as a result you can really build relationships with your customers after you've serviced their accounts for a time. I have so many stories of how I overcame obstacles here and won someone’s business despite being the underdog! Tony is an awesome CEO, and he’s willing to help his staff whenever they need it! Starting in sales himself, he knows what the journey is like to build a successful career, and I learned a ton from him during my time here!

These aren’t so much cons, but just like with most sales jobs, you really have to learn the products and the problems they solve to be successful. There’s also a long sales cycle in this industry that can keep you waiting for a few years if you miss your window of opportunity, but if this ends up happening, just keep building the relationship and see if they have any referrals they can give you in the meantime!
