Like any high-growth environment, there are moments of ambiguity or shifting priorities, but if you enjoy ownership and moving quickly, it’s a great place to be. For a start up, I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the maturity of business operations.

Resources can be limited at a startup, but the team is scrappy and willing to find solutions. The biggest challenge, however, is the in-office expectations. For a tech-forward company that collaborates globally across multiple time zones, the rigid in-office schedule feels counterproductive. Hybrid flexibility was oversold during the recruiting process, and it became clear shortly after joining that the expectation is actually four days a week in office. The lack of transparency around this was disappointing.
