The company presents itself externally as a very international and multicultural organisation, but in reality the leadership structure is still heavily dominated by Russian executives. The management culture reflects a very hierarchical and centralized style, with decisions made top-down and often with little transparency. Communication can be very authority-driven, and priorities can change quickly without much explanation. For employees coming from Western European or North American workplaces, this can make collaboration and planning unnecessarily difficult. Many Western colleagues have been raising the same concerns. There is a noticeable pattern where several senior roles are held by people from the same Russian leadership circle, and in some cases their level of competence does not seem to match the authority they exercise. This creates the perception that proximity to the founders or nationality carries more weight than expertise or merit, which can be very frustrating for experienced international professionals trying to do their work properly. Overall, a toxic place where politics are strong.
