Great to work with local companies and have brand recognition. After we were purchased by SPN, we were left to work as our own Product Label that we had been known for all along.

Many policies from a large organization come from the top-down and do not apply at a smaller/local level. Yet we were still meant to abide by the large organization policy. Out of touch with lower levels--hard to keep in large company. Commodity markets (oil and gas) are difficult to have steady business. When it's good, it's very good. But when it is bad, expect layoffs. The top secure their jobs before keeping the people who actually make the money for the company. Executives are still there with high salaries, but not the workers.
