Svantaggi

HQ and overreaching management Leadership skills vary greatly depending on office and location Flat organization with exceptionally limited room for advancement Training is very limited (primarily on-the-job experience and from existing colleagues)

Vantaggi

It has been quite interesting to work for a consulting firm that works in close collaboration with the local Embassy of Sweden. Because of the small office size I had full responsibility for my projects and got involved in all activities.

Svantaggi

Compensation depends on the location of your office and your boss. Local office managers also decide on the type of contract (Swedish expatriate or local), promotion and allocation of benefits. In sum, there is no real career progression unless your manager is willing to increase his/her fixed costs. No significant rewards for higher education such as master or MBA.
