Harvey Weinstein will likely be Swiss Re’s next hire. There have been numerous reports to HR of sexual harassment and physical attacks against several women in the NYC office all stemming from the same individual. Management has turned a blind eye. If you are a female or self respecting male avoid working here at all costs. The HR issues and rampant sexual harassment will likely play out in the press sooner rather than later.

As a matter of policy, Swiss Re diligently investigates each and every concern brought to our attention about offensive behavior or harassment by or against any US employee. If and when there is evidence of harassment, Swiss Re takes necessary measures, which can include termination of employment for just cause. 1. 12% 401k match 2. Amazing co workers in the trenches but this is rapidly changing as people look for the exits.

1. Management - the new management team has a maximum personal bonus / profit only mindset. Cost cutting reigns. 2. Constant layoffs. No job is safe. 3. Company has offshored many jobs to India and is in a race to move key underwritering, engineering, claims functions to India as well. Overall, it feels more like a private equity gut job than a publicly traded company.
