Working at Symbiotics was a genuinely positive experience. The team is very welcoming, supportive, and diverse; you really feel included and encouraged to share your ideas. Communication across departments is excellent, and the overall atmosphere is collaborative and respectful. I learned a lot from talented, mission-driven colleagues who care about the impact of their work.

The only downsides were that my position was temporary, even though it felt like the team could have benefited from a permanent role...and that fully remote options weren’t available at the time, despite the nature of the work (at least within this department) making it potentially feasible.
