Challenging Role - Recensione dipendente - Production Manager presso Synder Filtration

Smaller family owned company for over 25 years of which I had the great honor of working for for over 20 years, retiring this past September. A company that cares a great deal for their employees as well as their customers. Has always responded very quickly to their customers needs. A company with a good benefit package that includes a matching 401 K program. A very approachable top management team, all the way up to the owners, always willing to listen to any and all ideas and comments.

May have long hours, but worth it.

Not many pros working at this place. Maybe as a pit stop for a better opportunity.

Many cons about this place I don't even know where to begin. Management is horrible. You are forced to work many hours with little pay and little appreciation. Much of the work is delegated onto you even if it's not within your job responsibilities. They save money by not hiring resources, so you're required to work four different hats while being paid well under what the market pays. Many employees left during the time I was there, and current employees seemed very dissatisfied and looking for work elsewhere, so wouldn't be surprised if more have left. It's all about lining the family's pockets that own and run the place. You're just someone who brings in money for them and nothing else. There also seems to be a lot of shady business and exaggeration from the business side of things. Seems managements only job is to walk around and see what you're working on than to actually work themselves. I wouldn't trust doing business with this company. For the sake of the employees battling it out there, I hope things get better. The benefits is a whole other issue for this place.
