I know who wrote this review, and I am sorry to hear that you had these issues during your experience here. I want to be the first to say that we enjoyed having you as part of our team and having you grow with us. Now let's clarify a few things:
1. As for the title of this review, there are only 2 employees (out of 16) here who had prior sales experience. Everyone starts as an entry-level employee, and goes through our training program, as it states on our website. No one here is a 'natural' salesperson. They were able to take the training in stride, learn, and seek to improve to gain their results.
2. I apologize that you feel as if the paperwork was not explained properly. I narrate everything out loud as we go over it together. However, it is the employee's responsibility to ask for a copy of everything that you signed in order to read it later or to ask for more time to read what you're signing before you sign it. If that wasn't communicated to us, I am so sorry.
3. I do not expect, and would never expect, anyone to make their entire life about the company. In fact, I run the company, and in order to create a healthy balance, I must step away from the tasks at hand to re-energize and revitalize myself. If you felt that way, I wish there would have been open communication, so I could have helped. That being said, I do not believe that anyone can give a halfhearted effort and expect to gain an abundance of results.
4. Business trips are purely optional. They are a great way to accelerate the learning process. If there were any issues regarding rooming situations, those were not brought to my attention, but I am always open to communication and making everyone feel as comfortable as possible.
5. I pay training as a way to compensate you while you are learning the sales process. It clearly says in the paperwork that was signed by you that if you do not complete training, you're not entitled to the training pay, only for any sales made during training. That being said, early/premature abandonment during the training process does not warrant any payable wages. This is not a place to collect a "training incentive" and take advantage of the company.
6. The hours are 7:30AM-5:30PM. With lunch included and breaks included, these are typically 8.5-hour workdays. 45 hours total for the week with uncapped earning potential.
7. I am sorry that our model did not fit your needs. I explicitly mention on the website that one of my goals is to train and develop aspiring entrepreneurs. It seems that the values and missions did not align here.
8. I recall that you were provided with multiple territories (3) as a way to help you make progress. There only seems to be one common denominator here.
9. The word 'cult' has a negative connotation behind it. Yes, we are a team. Yes, we strive towards a common goal. Yes, we are developing people into strong business leaders. There is no malice behind our intent. We are merely providing people with entry-level experience and an opportunity to be rewarded by great work ethic, and not just skill, favoritism and seniority. A fair chance for all.
