A very small company, and due to a lack of structure, you do get exposure to and are required to fulfil a number of different roles. A stepping stone or first rung towards a future career in IT sales.

As a small company, you become aware of the ceiling in terms of personal growth very quickly. There aren't any roles to move to within, and so you can outgrow the company very quickly. Though they certainly do have the ambition to succeed, this is unfortunately where it remains. Due to extremely outdated practices and a "small business mindset", the company has remained stagnant in growth for a very long time. The management runs the business as a dictatorship and in a very autocratic way. No consideration or care is given, nor is there any loyalty returned from management to its employees. Systems Express will literally adhere to the bare minimum in terms of government requirements towards its employees. The furthest the benefits of working here go as far as "Well, you should be happy that at least you've got a job!".

The pay and work/life balance was fair, small company

Working there as I started working in the warehouse. The boss would come in to check that i was working and even though I kept asking for things to do, I would just be told to find things... And when I would sit down he would accuse me of being lazy... I then got moved to sales after one guy quit because he had enough of the abuse, and straight away was told a basic five seconds demo and whenever I asked how to do things was told, just figure it out... I got no guidance and therefore had no clue what to do! The boss would also run the place like a little dictator,
