- Despite my expectations/the glass door reviews, really strong culture. Firm does fun and very funny outings like a firm-wide tennis tournament and trips to Miami - Juniors are great, especially the associate/VP level. Really smart, supportive and hard-working, and dedicate a lot of time and effort into developing the analysts. Will "stoop" to the level of analyst tasks to alleviate the burden of more junior coworkers and facilitate a very collaborative environment - Healthy deal flow and exposure to a wide variety of transactions. Minimal pitch work (if any); seniors almost only push for dedicated pitches if they are likely to be retained - almost all of the more involved/time consuming pitches convert to live deals - Even at the analyst level, people at TAP get constant exposure and directly communicate with clients. They are given tremendous amounts of responsibility and have the opportunity to develop personal relationships with clients - Develop really strong modeling and technical skills - Analysts are always given credit for their work and there is not a hostile/competitive environment among juniors

- No robust/comprehensive training program which requires people who are weaker from a technical/modeling perspective to do some work independently to prepare for the technical-heavy role - Long hours and oftentimes challenging workload despite seniors and staffers best efforts to mitigate - Inevitably lacks certain bulge-brakes resources (such as an outsourced team to assist with simpler tasks and preparing generic materials), but does not lack any fundamental resources
