Unrealistic goals, they want to apply the "bank model" to an insurance company, which obviously does not work out well. There is an obsession about CEI, which is the customer experience index model, that the bank forced them to apply. Even though advisors dont have a say in quote prices or underwriting rules, if clients are not happy about the price or being declined/cancelled they will hold this agaist you and it will ultimately affect your individual performance, which is ridiculous. Underwriting rules are very strict, however they still expect you to achieve extremelly high sales/cross sales goals. There is little room for advancement within the insurance division, your only option is going to the bank and they will probably try to hold you back.
