TE is a junkyard. It is a dumping ground for useless MBAs, lawyers and those political science and hummanities graduates who would otherwise make 40K in other companies. TE pays them $150K to put them on the magazine covers. These useless people make life of other senior professionals miserable. Management is a joke. There is a reorg every 6 months to assign better positions to the new management buddies. Whenever a new manager shows up, jobs of exisiting people in the group are at risk. HR is a joke, again for magzine cover, performance reviews are used to harm employees rather than grow them. If you are above 40 years of age and not in the inner circles of old boys, its very likely that you are going to lose your job in a few months. Most managers are 30 year old kids with silly attitudes and no depth, and no maturity. If you get a better job elsewhere for a 10% pay cut, take it. The HR and finance depts are so cheap that they will fire you a month before vesting of 401k.

Its a junkyard.......stay away.......the origination of this company is out of a large fraud. Google Tyco Electronics fraud in around 2002 and you will understand why the name was changed to TE Connectivity......to hide the past. The same corrupt culture is still there......since most old dudes are still there.....getting paid for doing nothing. Run as fast as you can.

HR policies are words only. Years go by without ability to take any PTO and carry over not allowed. Friday afternoons, all HR US employees stop working with all others working past normal business hours and into the weekend including late Friday asks to complete an action by Monday 8:00 AM that was known earlier in the week but only communicated to the employee after Friday business hours. Every Friday. Onboarding structure / sink or swim approach, no training. No sense of belonging unless you’ve worked here 20 years plus. No growth or development opportunities unless tapped on the shoulder. Many openings are never published, again tapped on the shoulder approach despite offering to volunteer. Dismissive company culture. Every Voice Counts initiative is code for: if you do share your voice, you are on a list to not consider for promotion or any projects that would give you more visibility across the organization to foster one’s growth.
