The current CTO doesn't own anything except wins. All problems are "caused by people that came before him." Bad decisions being made on staffing, technology, and more. He doesn't like being challenged and doesn't take well to difficult questions. Tenured staff leaving in droves (Thad is no longer the CEO, he left over half a year ago), and for good reason. People that have been with the company 10, 15, 20 years - leaders that we all loved and respected, are gone or on their way out. Telus acquired TKXS about a year after the merger of XS and Technekes and stopped supporting and providing resources for integrations efforts. New management is now under the perception that TKXS was broken before being acquired when the fact is that the Telus acquisition is what broke it. They set up TKXS for failure. Every decision being made is driven by the bottom line. The mediocre/poor comp, training, culture budgets - the entire benefits system Telus has setup seems designed to drive out more expensive, knowledgeable employees and bring in newer talent that's willing to work harder for less money. TKXS used to be about doing right by employees and partners, the new Telus-owned TKXS is 100% about EBITDA/profitability.
