Vantaggi

Garrett Rhoten, my boss was a really nice guy, the internship was well organized and structured. There is a lot of traveling which I personally enjoyed, and the social aspect of the company is also very inviting. We would regularly have dinners together so you become close to individuals.

Svantaggi

The internship was a 12-week process, the only downside would be that I would want more experience in ladder logic.

Vantaggi

The various projects onsite/in office facilitate unique career opportunities you won’t find elsewhere. Everyday is a new project, new opportunity, you won’t get bored. Camaraderie is a big aspect of the team, the engineers are highly driven, and fun to be around. The management are professionals who provide mentorship, growth for skills in/outside the company, experience outside your job description, and networking. Lots of traveling opportunities, generous benefits, and flexibility with PTO. The job fulfillment you get is based on the level of effort you put in. It can be very rewarding. Wouldn’t recommend to someone wanting to passively collect a paycheck.

Svantaggi

Work travel: can be a lot Physical work: good amount of hands-on work onsite/in office. Could be a con for some, but a plus for those who like to get down and dirty. Overtime/on-call: you would have to manage this yourself, to avoid getting burned out. No one will force you to do anything. Onsite: could run into bad apples along the way, but the managers of this company will have your back

Vantaggi

Quality, affordable benefits and investments in employee education. Engineers can make good money here and enjoy flexibility, but it requires a lot of travel and OT.

Svantaggi

Admin staff are not valued and are viewed as an expense rather than an asset. The controller is a controlling, micromanaging bully. The new title is spot on.
