I’ve worked at this company for a more than a year and have had a terrible experience with the management team. I also have not grown into a different position despite all my hard work and dedication. ZERO growth here. The two day managers are both very unprofessional and have poor management skills. One of them is a narcissistic and always afraid of other people taking his job. He plays mind games with the employees, which created a very uncomfortable work environment. The other manager has favorites and is always flirting with one specific girl all the time, which makes everyone else feel left out. The work culture was terrible, with some people being expected to work hard while others watch. The lack of communication is a significant issue, as they expect us to complete tasks without giving any clear instructions. The HR department is also a disaster, with zero HR skills at this office. Any complaints or issues are never addressed, which makes it very difficult for employees to address any concerns. Overall, I would not recommend working at this company. The management team is extremely unprofessional and creates a toxic work environment. There is no clear direction or communication, and the HR department was non-existent. I have not had a good experience working here and would advise anyone to look for employment elsewhere. The Blacksburg office is a whole different story. If you are going to work at Torc, then I suggest you apply for that office. They have great leadership and share their values a lot better.
