Vantaggi
Paid training, pay is good for having no call center experience, opportunity to bonus, opportunity for overtime.
Svantaggi
More than pros. Where to begin.. 1. Training is a joke. You're hired w/ between 20-30 other people and are stuck in a training class w/ them for about a month or so. They hire just about anyone so being in training class will be reminiscent of high school drama. We had two girls fired during training because they broke out into a fight during class. A handful were fired during training class due to falling asleep on a regular basis. By the time training class was over, less than half of us were left. Plus they give you a lot of information but don't properly train on how to operate the citrix system (which always has problems technically) or portal which is what you use to actually do your job and help the people that call in. They drill "call flow" into you during training but don't properly train in any other regard. 2. Supervisors or "Sups" as they are referred to as generally are new either in the company altogether or in the department so they have no clue how to help you. Plus the ratio of Sups to reps is way off so God forbid you need help w/ your computer (their system and equipment suck) because you're going to have you're hand up while you have a member on hold for 5 minutes or more. 3. Their system and computers suck. It seemed like everyday there was one issue or another w/ the system or equipment so not only are you having to deal w/ rude or angry people on the line you're having to try to help them while your computer is screwing up. Which goes back to asking help from the "Sups" that don't know what they're doing anyways. All in all if you're not hard up for cash DO NOT WORK HERE!!! It's a nightmare.
