Pay is in the middle of the range, super benefits, central parts ordering and PO generation. Some of the parts department personnel go above and beyond routinely.

Note, all this was before the Covid crisis and is continuing during it. No promotion in place for Bmet II to Bmet III, you have to move to another shop to an open Bmet III position to get promoted, there is no promotion policy or guidelines. No raise for CBET certification. No merit pay increase, small cost of living increase yearly. Headquarters in Indianapolis is completely disconnected from the rest of the company, but every decision on the smallest issue comes from there. Duplicate PM work orders every month then it takes 3 weeks to get the duplicate cancelled all the while being harassed over unfinished, unneeded PMs. Submit an HR ticket and it may be resolved by the time you retire. No way to recognize extra effort by supply chain individuals.

PAY. They want to give them easily 3% a year so you are making less money each year because inflation is usually higher than that. The only way to get more money is to gain some experience and training through traumatics and then leave to an OEM or something similar to get paid what you're worth. Just causes a lot of turnover and it's very hard to find new people with any experience so you are constantly doing the job of multiple people. It's a vicious cycle all because they don't want to pay people what they're worth as they progress in their career instead they would rather wait until the next guy comes in pay him even more than someone was asking for plus they still have to send him to all the trainings that the other guy had already completed. Just a poor business model that makes no sense to me.
