I love working at TVision. It's been such a breath of fresh air and I've been working with people who are fantastically smart and experienced (basically no fresh out of college students). The tech stack is interesting with docker, ansible, python, haskell, scikit-learn and more. There's great learning opportunities including weekly tech talks with a lot of time spent code reviewing and quality time spent designing and finding the best solutions to interesting problems. The product and sector both make total sense and leadership is clear in their wants and desires and those are clearly communicated in the company's vision and day to day operations. The benefits package is also quite nice including unlimited PTO and unlimited work from home. Engineering feels very collaborative and the kanban style of working means we are always working towards releasing new and improved features, and therefore better data. There's a massive focus on product over projects, which helps drive decisions and keeps overengineering to a minimum. The fridge is well stocked with beer and other assorted snacks and the environment feels pretty laid back overall.
