People used to be the best part - back in the early days. Last year it’s gone down the drain and a lot of the great leaders and people left and that tells you what you need to know. Work life balance is actually pretty good. Also John Jahnke was actually a great person but just don’t think he knows what’s going on in the trenches - only what he hears from management.
Svantaggi
Over time, the company has had a lot of politics and a lot of internal biases. Basically impossible to switch roles, get a promotion or even a measly raise. Clearly they’ve run out of money and don’t know where to go. I’ve heard on a company call someone from C-Suite basically insinuate we should be grateful that we have a job and that compensation isn’t everything - tell that to people with families and kids to take care of. They don’t really give a crap about you and a lot of leadership nowadays have no clue what is going on. There’s desperation to secure sales with them pushing out random half baked features and services that aren’t actually doing anything for customers. Also - they love to push things under the rug, I have heard of multiple instances of bullying and harassment even at the offsites. But this is never taken seriously even when reported to the People team and always dismissed without a second thought. For a company that claims they have a great culture, they might want to take a good look internally. Once upon a time Tackle was a great place to work…but now I would say run. All these negative reviews are very accurate.
