Vantaggi
Lunch and Starbucks and that it.
Svantaggi
1. The worst company I’ve worked for in my entire career. 2. The office environment feels extremely closed and suffocating, creating a dull and gloomy atmosphere with no sense of freshness. 3. Management is terrible, with excessive micromanagement. In every project or team, there’s always someone tracking exactly when you come and go, making it feel like you’re constantly being watched. 4. The rules are unnecessarily strict. You’re not allowed to carry bags into the office. There’s mandatory clock-in and clock-out, and you must be present for at least 9 hours daily. You must arrive sharp at 10 AM, and you’re allowed a total of only 2 hours of lateness per month (not more than 2 days). 5. Layoffs are frequent. They fire employees every quarter—recently 30% of the workforce was let go. You could even be terminated for trivial reasons like dozing off at your desk, not bringing a notebook and pen to a meeting, or not adhering to the strict dress code, which feels like being in school. 6. You can’t use your phone freely; there are designated booths for phone usage, and that’s the only place you’re allowed to use them. 7. Being an Indian company, salaries are relatively low for most employees. There’s no work-from-home policy, and due to the constant micromanagement, it’s nearly impossible to attend interviews if you want to leave. Their practice seems to be hiring people at higher salaries, extracting maximum work, and then letting them go. Final note: If Tanla Platforms were the last company on earth, it would still not be worth joining.
