It can sometimes feel like you aren't good enough after doing everything that you can -The above con creates low morale at times -Sometimes get along great with supervisor and at times get berated -Relationship with direct reports can be negative because of the expectations given by higher ups. As a Team Leader you can be caught in the middle of pushing your team for excellence while also recognizing that they are people who work hard and simply cannot meet the ridiculous expectations.
