Responsible for coordinating all technical queries with Suppliers, resolving open issues and faults, and guaranteeing that the supply of Quality Assured parts is delivered from External Suppliers on time, to specification, and in the required quantities • Apply quality tools and techniques at supplier's manufacturing facilities to ensure they consistently produce high-quality products. • Ability to own development timing plan & manage the bottlenecks during development phases & engineering changes impact (ECN). • Drive process for immediate supplier containment and resolution of quality and capacity issues utilizing disciplined problem-solving lean best practices, and technical expertise to protect supply • Managed plant lean, six sigma programs to drive continuous improvement projects to reduce labor costs and increase plant organization • Sound knowledge of quality documents such as APQP, PPAP & TPS (Toyota production system). • Knowledge of the product, tool, and fixtures cost estimation, supplier identification, supplier development • Strong knowledge of supplier development, strategic sourcing & new product development process.
