Vantaggi
The past year plus that I've been at Tatango have been fantastic. This is a really good organization that cares about its people and its customers.
How does it care about its people? Lots of ways. It pays fairly and rewards employees for performance. It provides incredible health benefits. It gave us extra days off at the 4th of July and during the holidays. We even got an employee appreciation day off. All of that "forced" vacation is on top of the unlimited PTO program. The company invests in training tools and in an online wellness/fitness program. We're 100% work from home (have been for 10 years so not a new COVID thing) and there's a very generous monthly stipend for your home office. They truly care.
As for customers, when there are customer facing issues, they get fixed. Quickly. Of course there are things that are harder and take more time but little bugs that customers report get huge attention. I've worked a number of places and being that it's privately held with no outside investment, they take customers very seriously. I was once told that I had a "nearly unlimited budget to make customers happy". That's just amazing.
Last but not least, the company is investing. We've really increased our senior leadership in all areas and that's going to pay off in due time. Overall, Tatango is a super place to work.
Svantaggi
There's so little negative but one thing might be is that working from home can be isolating. Some of our teammates haven't met anyone else from the company in person. That's probably more about COVID than anything else, but it's still a fact.
