I really don't think there is another program out there that will provide you with the opportunity to face such personal growth in the way TFA does. Not only do you strengthen your professional skills, but you grow as a human being and member of society. The job is exceptionally rewarding and at the end of the commitment, it will feel like every difficult day was worth it.

It is INCREDIBLY difficult and time consuming. The pay was exciting for me at first as it was my first job out of college, but I quickly learned that the amount of work required far surpasses the amount you are compensated. Training is limited and it takes a truly resilient individual to stick around through the tough days with only intrinsic motivation to help students. However, again, it is rewarding work and it felt worth it.
