The role was effectively two full-time jobs combined (Webinar Coordinator and Copywriter), with no adjustment in pay or workload expectations.
Managed by multiple people with overlapping demands and conflicting deadlines — no clear reporting structure.
Communication was chaotic. All employees shared a central inbox, which made it extremely easy to miss important emails.
I was sent a used, outdated laptop that arrived damaged. When I reported it, I was blamed for breaking it and offered only a convoluted “temporary replacement” process that I didn’t have the time to chase due to the intense workload.
I requested the laptop be properly fixed later in my probation period, but shortly after this request, I was told I wasn’t the “right fit” and was let go. I was then charged for the damaged equipment, despite it being faulty on arrival — this left me with a significantly reduced final paycheck.
HR was unprofessional and rude during my exit, and to this day, has not responded to requests for a reference.
Expectations during probation were vague, unrealistic, and not clearly communicated.
