Would give my experience zero stars if possible. Epitome of a toxic work environment. Boss / Owner is a professional manipulator and bully. Will make you feel guilty for requesting respect as an employee. Boss is unable to provide constructive feedback, set expectations, or even give coherent instructions. Her emotional intelligence is non-existent at best. She will find error in the littlest tasks, refuse to have a civil or constructive conversation about how to fix problems, and in a "hissy-fit" you'd expect from a child, will shut you out of meetings and remove you from projects. She will micromanage in order to increase productivity without any self awareness that she, in fact, is the company's biggest problem. The veterans on staff do little to deter the abuse coming from management, further undermining your confidence and self respect. God forbid you start to cave under stress - even your peers will start to throw you under the bus in order to save face. There is a complete lack of trust. If you ever reach out to a veteran staff member for help it will result in a closed door "meeting" where your superiors will talk about your "poor performance" directly to the boss. Systems are non existent, work is never consistent in quality, priorities are constantly shifting. Avoid at all costs. A gap in your resume is immensely better for your well-being than taking a job at this place.

One of the major shifts has been in operations and taking some of the burden off senior leadership for improved operations. We have also now created stronger documentation and training to on board new team members and set clear and measurable expectations. Dog friendly. Snacks. General benefits and pay are decent-ish. Awesome co-workers with great talent. Paid overtime. HR lady is a sweetheart. If you're an entry level person, this is a good place to learn some ropes and jump to a different employer after a couple of months.

A workplace honed on fear and superiority. Other employees constantly expressed fear of being yelled at or fired on any given day. Though, that's not entirely it. If you were an undesired employee, you would be squeezed out through high school like antics of being left out of conversations or removed from clients until that employees decided to leave on their own--professional bullying, if you will. Communication is abhorrent. Everybody is responsible to a point, of course, but projects are constantly being dropped onto your lap. Client expectations and level of importance are always being changed depending on how much the client is paying (or hasn't paid). Out of scope items are always being dropped in by the management, pushing timelines of other projects back constantly. No way to stay on top of work that keeps coming in and being promised over other deadlines. You don't realize how much you miss having lunch breaks until you lose them. Remember that.
