Don't be fooled by the CEO seeming friendly and cheery - that courtesy is reserved exclusively for the other moneybag Chiefs. Oh, also to brand their self-congratulatory recordings with a smile where the only people you ever hear about are other Execs, who's sole presence is to congratulate those bringing in money, brag about fancy new offices which nobody wanted nor asked for. The above expenses are solely there for looks and to "sell" the look of the company. That and lining the bank accounts of the Execs. Why on earth do you think anyone, ever, wants to be forced into an office and be stuck surrounded by a dozen other people all making noise vs at home? Throughout Covid and even Flooding demanded/expected staff to still attend physically in the office. Very, very high turnover of staff - no really, there's at least a dozen new hires or losses at any one time in progress, most of which are either practically forced out due to being bullied or quit due to burnout . Management and Exec-levels hopelessly out of touch with employees, absolutely heartless and souless, only concerned with hiring even more salespeople to increase revenue while cutting every purse-string they can see elsewhere (including staff). Handling of staff concerns, complaints or comments is only ever used for the company's benefit, never to up-skill or maintain existing employees - it's like giving the Bogeyman your list of "things to be terrified of" so they can plot who to get rid of. Totally profit-focused, absurd timescales and unrealistic levels of work expected from teams they won't expand with staff that are barely paid average for their roles.
